Here are the articles that accompanied my 1996 and 1997 presentations at the Borand International Developer's Conference on using Delphi for client/server development. Wow! over 600 people came to the General C/S talk and about 500 to the Oracle talk.

In September 97 I gave two talks at a European Borland conference and tossed out fortune cookies, duck sauce, even my used laundry to hundreds of perplexed developers in Frankfurt, Germany. Then I invited them all to go out for chinese food in New York. It was pretty funny and a great experience. I still get emails from some of them.
